RAWALPINDI: A Ban was imposed on plying rickshaws
on 6 road
s in Rawalpindi Cantt.
On the recommendation of City
Traffic Police, Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has banned plying of rickshaws
on 6 important roads of Rawalpindi Cantt and Chaklala cantonment.
These roads include Mall road Rawalpindi, Bank road, Kashmir road, AdamJi road, RA Bazaar road and airport road.
According to the rout permit is
suing authority 17280 registered rickshaws and over 3500 non registered rickshaws are currently running in Rawalpindi.
