SHEIKHUPURA: At least four suspected terrorists were gunned down in a raid carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department in Sheikhupura on Wednesday.
According to reports, t
he suspects were killed near Sheikhupura Bypass. However,
three of their accomplices managed to escape from the area. CTD informed media that the dec
eased were associated with a banned organisation.
Three of the slain terrorists were identified as Rizwan alias Asif Chotu, Ali Sufyan and Noorul Amin. A CTD sp
okesman said that Rizwan had reportedly been nominated in a 100 murder cases and had a bounty
of Rs 3,000,000 on his head.
The CTD personnel recovered weapons and 3 kilogrammes of explosives from t
he suspects.
