RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the government is duty-bound to ensure fair distributi
on of resources among all the federating units of the country.
He made these remarks in a meetin
g with Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri on Saturday.

he prime minister said the government’s visi
on of transforming Pakistan into a developed state is not possible without developme
nt of all federating units.
He said all areas of the country have equitable rights over the country’s resources.

he prime minister said that Gwadar Port will change the fate of the people of Balochistan and the entire region. He informed the chief minister that he is personally monitoring all development projects in the province.
On the occasion, the chief minister apprised t
he prime minister of the progress made on various development projects and welfare initiatives undertaken by the provincial government.
He told t
he prime minister that with improved security situation the development projects are being executed with renewed spirit.
He said the deprivations of the people in Balochistan are aptly being addressed through the federal government’
s major initiatives in the province.
